Sen. Richard Gordon, who will reportedly be seeking the Presidency of the country in 2010, proved himself to have a special connection and affinity with the veterans sector when he appeared before the Executive Board of the Veterans Federation of the Philippines, the legally-created Filipino veterans' umbrella organization. He assured the veterans' leaders that he would push strongly for the equity bill pending in the US Congress.
